What an exotic piece this red and black ash tray is and it makes a lovely float vase for flowers. The ash tray is 8" in diameter, 3 1/2" high and has the Royal Haeger mark. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on the ashtray. There is one tiny pin prick size hole in the glaze.

Cie Gle Transatlantique Ash Tray

Some time in the 1930's this little ash tray was brought home after a luxurious transatlantic ship voyage. The Compagnie Generale Transatlantique Company is a French owned shipping company founded in 1861. This Opalex, light jadite colored, ash tray is in good condition with no chips or cracks and the lettering is in fine shape. The ashtray is 3 1/8" long by 2 5/8" wide.

Spittoon from the 1800"s

Tobacciana:Spittoons This mavelous old turtle shaped spittoon has cast iron head,legs and feet. The shell and bowl are tin. The whole body has a bronze finish which is nicely, age worn, in spots.The spittoon is 13" long and 10" wide foot to foot. It says Pat. Applied for 1891 on the legs. The spittoon would be a wonderful addition to a collection but also is a great decorative piece. The inner bowl is rusted through on the bottom- not a problem unless you are going to use it for a spittoon.
