Western Stoneware Chain Link Pattern Casserole Western Stoneware Company used this opaque thick blue glaze on many of their kitchen items. The casserole also has the interesting chain link pattern. The glaze on the casserole has pin prick flaws - not unusual for this glaze. There is also a small nick in the glaze on the top and it has been baked in as can be seen by the rich brown color on the edge. The only mark is a faint USA under the bottom glaze.
