Early 1900's Graniteware Breadbox What a find this is. The bread box was brought over from Germany and is believed to have come in the early 1900's. The blue box is an 19 1/2" long by 10 3/4" oval. The black printing on it is German and says Sinser taglich brot gib uns heute. I'm told this translated says Our bread this day give us. The chrome is corroded and the inside discolored and has crazing with some chips inside and out. All together though it is a very attractive piece and in good shape for its age. shipping & insurance $18.50 |
