Hand Carved Buddha

This Impressive figure has been carved from wood and stands 23 1/2" high. I do not know it's history but it appears to be quite old. It had some kind of a reddish brown finish that is now dry and crazed. There are cracks in the wood and one arm has been broken and glued back under the garment sleeve.

Stetson Handpainted Platter

This 10" in diameter platter was hand painted at the Stetson China Company. The Stetson company existed from the 1950's to the late 1960's and like the Southern Potteries most of their wares were hand painted. The platter is in good shape with no chips or cracks.

Van Briggle Pitcher Vase

Glass, Crystal:Anchor Hocking:Royal Ruby:Holiday. The mark on this soft turquoise pitcher vase was used from the 1940's to the 1960's. The vase is in good condition although it has two, not very noticeable, glaze chips near the handle.

Carved Wood Springbok Head.

Dolls, Figures: Figurine: Carving. This 17 1/4" tall antelope head, which I believe represents a stylized Springbok head, is beautifully carved and in very good shape. He would make an elegant addition to a library shelf or a fire place mantle.

China, Porcelain:Made In Japan. This is a set of six hand painted dessert plates with a quaint windmill scene on each. The plates are in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of skips in the brown glaze as can be seen in the picture.
