Shell Shaped Basket

I don't know the history of this tightly woven little basket. The 5" long by 4" wide and 3 1/2" high basket is beautifully made and in very good condition. It would make a fun way to display guest soaps or give a small gift.

Antique Brass Bucket Antiques

This interesting bucket came from the Boston area and was used in the 1800's by the 75 year old sellers great aunt. The bucket has been used to heat water or cook over a fire, the bottom shows the fire marks. The center of the bottom has been cleaned to show a makers mark that can't be well seen but is the H. W. Haydens Ansonia Brass Co. It has a hand forged iron handle. The mark does show the dates 1851 and 1865 .The 8 3/4" high and 12 1/4" in diameter bucket has not been cleaned and has a nice age patina.

Farm Store Wooden Horse Sign

This old sign was s originally in the window of a Nebraska farm store. It was bought it in an antique shop 20 or so years ago. It would be a highlight of any country decor.There is a picture hanger on it so it could hang it on the wall. The wooden sign is 24" long and 24" high. It is nicely worn in spots.

Small Silver Plate Box

This little box may have been for pills but could be used for a small keepsake or use it to give a gift . The box is 1 1/2" high and 1 3/4" in diameter. It has a thumb hinge opening and a beaded edge. In nice condition.

Jadite Fruit Decoration - Set of 3

This is a set of jadite fruit that could be used in many different center pieces or decorations. The set consists of a pear, squash and pomegranate. The fruit is 4 to 5" high and in good shape with wired on jadite leaves and wood stems. The are a few natural fractures in the stone.

Egg Mailer

In the 1920's and 1930's there were no huge egg factories. Most eggs came from small farms and were sold by farm co-ops. Some people who did not live in the city received their eggs by mail. This is an old egg mailer and it would be a great decoration for a country kitchen or a country store. Also it would be a fun way to display glass eggs or dried flowers. The 12" long 12" wide and 6 1/8" high box held six dozen eggs.

Danish Tin With Christa Kieffer Picture

Collectibles : Advertising : Tins : Decorative Items $18 USD Larger Views This tin would be a cute sitting on a kitchen shelf or in a book case. The tin is 10 3/8" in diameter and 5" high. There is a dent on the side of the lid and a scratch on the side near the bottom, neither of which really effect the decorative qualitiy of the tin. I don't know the age of this tin.

Ironstone Blue and White Chamber Pot

China, Porcelain: Ironstone: Chamber Pot A pretty Chinese scene graces this chamber pot. The size is 9" in diameter and 4 1/4" tall. The pot is in fine condition with no chips cracks or crazing. A great container for flowers or just use it to brighten a corner. The mark is a shield with a lion and unicorn on either side of it and the word Ironstone underneath.

Moroccan Decorator Bowl

A cobalt blue and white pattern make this footed bowl a standout in any setting. The 10 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" high bowl is in good shape with no chips or cracks. There is light crazing in the glaze. The bowl has a hole in the back foot for hanging if desired.

MZ Austria, Rose Decorated Plate

This 9 1/2" in diameter plate would please any rose fancier. This plate is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a slight amount of wear on the gold trim. The Moritz Zdekauer mark was used in the early 1900's to the 1930's. The Prince mark was probably the decorators mark.

This is quite a detailed and interesting copper plaque. I would guess it's after some famous painting depicting the history of humanity. The 8" plaque is in very good condition and has the name Tuck on the back.

Fostoria Opalescent Green Epergne

What a beautiful center piece this fountain of green makes. The epergne is 9 1/2" side to side, 6 1/2" front to back and the horn is 7" high. The epergne is in good shape with no chips or cracks or noticeable scratches. The rubber at the end of the horn is worn but does work to keep the horn upright. It could be replaced. The Epergne is from Fostoria's Heirloom collection - 1959 to 1970.
