This type of salt and pepper used to be a frequent give away from stores in the 1940's. They were a clever idea for picnic lunches since the top closed to keep them from leaking.This one is from Fox Hole Tavern in Wilbur Nebraska. The 2" high and 2" long set is in good condition.
