Austrian Wax Doll

This old doll is dressed as in Austrian military uniform, and carries a bag and trumpet. The doll is 11" tall and his head, hands, legs and boots are of wax. The body and arms are of a stuffed material. There are healed over cracks in the face and a repair to one of the legs.He stands on a wood base. Most wax dolls were made from 1840 to 1900.
