in very good condition. Total weight of this toy is 2 lbs, 6 oz. Made by Marx this is an old tin toy index typewriter. It works like the old index typewriters; each letter is dialed in then pressed down. This was not made to hold ribbon, so presumably the letters were rubbed with ink. In good condition with a few scratches in the paint; wheel is slightly bent on one edge but still works just fine. This rare collectible toy has been valued at:
